I will soon be honored by the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation at a special event recognizing outstanding young professionals in my community. In accepting this distinction, I have committed to raise money to help the Foundation realize its mission of controlling and curing cystic fibrosis (CF).

Cystic fibrosis is a devastating genetic disease that affects the lungs and digestive system. More than ten million Americans are symptomless carriers of the defective CF gene. Advances continue to be made in finding a cure, but your help is needed now -- more than ever -- to help keep up the momentum of this life-saving research. When the Foundation began in 1955, most children with CF did not live to see their first day of elementary school. Today, the median predicted age of survival for a person with CF is in the mid-30s. This is remarkable progress, but not good enough. We continue to lose precious lives to CF every day. To learn more about CF and the CF Foundation, visit www.cff.org . 2015 marks the 20th Anniversary of Pittsburgh’s 50 Finest! This elite group of the area’s most accomplished men and women are honored each year for their success in their careers and their involvement in the Pittsburgh community. The honorees commit to raising much needed funds and awareness for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation (CFF), and their efforts are celebrated at a special gala hosted by CFF and WHIRL Magazine on Thursday, August 13, 2015, at the Omni William Penn Hotel, from 7:00-11:00pm.

The Pittsburgh’s 50 Finest gala has become one of the most anticipated events in the city, with over 700 guests in attendance each year. The 2014 class of Pittsburgh’s 50 Finest set a national record, raising over $350,000 to help support the Foundation’s search for a cure! If you want to mix and mingle with the city’s most outstanding professionals, this is one event you won’t want to miss!

On February 4, 2013 we started a new Monday night edition of Pittsburgh Sportsline TV at Cip's Sports Bar in Dormont. We filmed 83 weeks of TV shows until it was sold! All of our TV shows on Monday night are rebroadcast throughout each week.

We have been at Dukes Rib House & Grille in Mt. Lebanon since October 2014, every 2nd and 4th week..

We did our First show at Atrias PNC Park on December 1, 2014. On January 5, 2015, we started filming our Monday night TV show every 1st and 3rd week!

On March 16, 2015 we move to our new Monday night 1st and 3rd week location at The Smokehouse Bar and Grille!

We also announce local Amateur Golden Gloves Boxing and Professional matches too!

Our boxing friends and trainers were in a Boxing Reality show "White Collar Brawlers" filmed in Pittsburgh and New York! The show was on the Esquire Network! If you watch the end of the 2 filmed in Pittsburgh at The Wolfpack Boxing Club you might catch "The Talking Machine" for 32 seconds as the ring announcer.

Join us for our monthly Pittsburgh Sportsline TV show at the Hollywood Lanes (2961 West Liberty Ave. Dormont, Tonight, Monday night February 1st, from 7:30-8:30 pm. They are more than a bowling alley! This great venue owned by Jeffrey Parke is a multifaceted entertainment facility offering our Pittsburgh community a wide range of activities including: bowling, darts, live music, our sports talk TV show and much more!!! There will be food, drink and bowling specials during our show! NO COVER!

Well I didn't really have any plans to go shooting this morning, as I know some clouds are moving into the area, but if it weren't from a tweet from a friend I would have missed this incredible sky! The color didn't last that long, but it was stunning as it lit up the sky before dawn. This is a view from the Clemente Bridge, with sunrise on the left and cars streaking by on the right!"

A native of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Allen Levine started his Pittsburgh Sportsline TV show October 11, 2011. He is the award winning producer, host and is known as "The Talking Machine".

He has expanded his original Live Tuesday night show to doing a taped show "On Location" outside the studio! Pittsburgh Sportsline does two shows each week plus an occasional special edition TV show to help fundraisers and community activities! His show has had an eclectic variety of guests on his public access TV show on Monday nights "on Location". They talk sports and then about their business, current fundraiser and charitable organization. He has interviewed over 500 great people from age 5-90 years old.
