Description/Profile/About

Jessica Lee is a professional Jazz Singer, Musician, Educator, Entrepreneur and Recording Artist with four solo albums available internationally and represented by EQ Music record label internationally on seven vocal compilation albums together with Norah Jones and many other Jazz & Blues influenced vocalists from around the world. Jessica also earned a J.D. from Duke University School of Law where she studied business and entertainment law, and has used the law degree to assist her various artistic and social entrepreneurial ventures. She is a co-founder of the nonprofit America's Arts & Music Crossroads Center which produces Creative & Career programs for underprivileged youth and those living in at-risk communities, and is a V.P. of the nonprofit business accelerator, Pittsburgh Gateways Corp, which is involved in the saving and renovation of the historic Crawford Grill Jazz Club in Pittsburgh and the start-up and growth of the city's new Energy Innovation Center which offers leading-edge "STREAM" training programs (Science, Technology, Research, Engineering, Arts & Mathematics) for young to old. Jessica believes strongly in artist entrepreneurship and arts education, and produces live performances that range from an intimate duo format (voice & guitar or piano) to Jazz Combo to full Jazz Band to Jazz Big Band and even shows that feature Jazz with full Symphony Orchestra. Jessica is available for live performance bookings through her music production company, ViveVenture, LLC; and provides Creative and Career coaching and training programs through the nonprofit Pittsburgh Gateways Corporation. Jessica also performs and teaches in colleges and universities throughout the U.S. and enjoys singing for many high-level charitable events, which in the past have included performances for Make-a-Wish (nationally broadcast into all 50 states), the Center for Arts Education in NYC, and the Hillman Cancer Center and the Susan G. Koman Race for the Cure.
